Finally Fun Food worth queuing for

The smell of something sweet in the air. The colour of it. That feeling of being a kid at a fair and knowing something good was coming. We think everyone deserves to feel that — and we think it’s worth doing properly.

Because somewhere along the way, event food stopped being about joy and started being about margins. Servo ice, cheap cordial, stale popcorn, stiff fairy floss spun from the bargain bin. Vendors turning up to turn a profit and pack up quietly. As a result, the magic got lost somewhere between the markup and the minimum effort.

That’s why Hawaiian Snow exists — to bring it back.

A Sydney family business, built on something real

We’re a family-run, Western Sydney-based fun food hire business with a genuine love for what we do and an obsession with doing it well. Hawaiian shave ice, freshly spun fairy floss, hot buttered popcorn, and trendy dirty sodas — four favourites, each one crafted and presented with care, colour, and the kind of warmth that’s hard to fake.

We call it the Aloha spirit, and it shows up in the way we pack our cart, the way we talk to your guests, and the way we make sure every single serve is worth coming back for.

As a family business, every event we attend is personal to us. Our name is on the cart. Our reputation travels with every scoop. That’s why we hold ourselves to a standard that most fun food hire vendors simply don’t bother with — and why the people who book us once tend to book us again.

Recognised for doing it right

In 2025, Hawaiian Snow was named a finalist in the Fairfield City Local Business Awards — recognition that means a great deal to us as a business rooted in Western Sydney. It reflects not just the quality of our product, but the way we show up for our community: schools, P&Cs, local markets, sports clubs and neighbourhood events that deserve something genuinely good.

We’re proud to be a local business built by locals, for locals — and we’re honoured that our community has noticed.

What makes Hawaiian Snow different

There’s no shortage of fun food hire options in Sydney. Here’s what sets us apart:

The product is the real thing. Our shave ice is made from block ice shaved to a cloud-like texture and drenched in syrups crafted from 100% pure cane sugar — no high-fructose corn syrup, no artificial thickeners, no powder concentrates. The difference is immediate and obvious from the first bite.

We show up properly. Every booking gets a professional setup, a fully stocked cart, and trained staff who are there to make your event better — not just fill a time slot. We handle everything from arrival to pack-down.

No power, no problem. All of our setups run entirely on battery power. No extension leads, no generators, no asking your venue for infrastructure. We work indoors, outdoors, on grass, on concrete — anywhere.

Gluten-free, allergen-free, vegan. Every shave ice we serve is suitable for the whole crowd. No exceptions, no modifications needed.

We’re flexible. School fundraiser? We’ll work out a profit-sharing arrangement. Wedding? We have a setup designed for that. Corporate activation? We can colour-match our syrups to your brand. Whatever your event, we’ll make it work.

The people behind the cart

Hawaiian Snow is owned and run by Antony and Valentina — a husband and wife team from Western Sydney who live in the communities they serve, and care deeply about showing up well for them.

We started this business with a clear purpose: event food should create moments people remember, not just keep people fed. That belief drives everything — from the quality of every serve, to the value they bring to every booking, to the care they put into showing up on the day.

When the Hawaiian Snow cart rolls out, it’s never just a transaction. It’s a cold, colourful, crowd-stopping experience that earns its place as the highlight of your event — and leaves your guests talking long after the last cup is served.

For Antony and Valentina, this isn’t a side hustle or a hired crew — it’s their name on the cart, their reputation at every event, and their community they’re serving. That personal investment is felt in every interaction, from the first enquiry through to pack-down at the end of the day.

Beyond just the food, we work with school P&Cs, community organisers, event planners, corporate teams and private hosts who feel the same way — that the people showing up deserve a genuine experience, not an afterthought.

So if that sounds like you, we’d love to be part of your next event.
